Job Description

Gearhouse Broadcast is an internationally recognised global leader in providing technology solutions to the media sector and works with some of the most respected broadcasters/rights holders/production companies in the world.

We have offices in the UK/USA/Australia/India and Qatar
The office in Doha has been in business since 2004 and we have completed a number of high profile system integration installations.

Due to continue growth we are seeking to expand our presence and recruit for this new position.

Ideally we are looking for a candidate with previous work experience in this region.

Candidates who only have Broadcast, IT or Consumer Electronics experience should apply.


In addition to the initial challenge you will also be responsible to:
• Developing sales strategies and setting targets for the business.
• Dealing with major customer accounts and developing accounts
plans.
• Collecting customer feedback and market research.
• Keeping up to date with products and competitors.

Hours of work:
Normally, you'll work 9am to 6pm, Monday to Thursday. However, you may have to work longer when necessary.
You'll be office-based, but also spending some of your time visiting customers.
You may also need to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions.

Skills and experience required:
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills

• The ability to motivate and lead a team and be very hands on
with the day to day functions
• Initiative and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication and 'people skills'
• Good planning and organisational skills
• The ability to work calmly under pressure
• Good IT, budget and report writing skills
• A full driving licence
