Job Description

Islam Commercial Enterprises is a Food Import and Distribution Company with main office in Jeddah and branches in Medina, Riyadh and Khobar. We specialize in high quality Bakery and Pastry products that and are well known in the Catering and industrial sector of the market. Our product range includes bread and cake mixes, chocolates, creams, jams, glazes, fillings, cake decorations, cheeses, beverages and some delicatessen items. We have our own warehouses and delivery vehicles for the use of our team of salesmen. Our products are well known in the market and we have a very good reputation among our customers. We are looking for a Sales Supervisor, to be based at our Jeddah office to lead and organize our team of representatives. If he proves himself capable, he will be promoted to become the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:
In co-ordination with our Finance manager and Business Development Manager to estimate and organize the sales targets per product, per customer and per salesman and making sure that those targets are reached by our salesmen.
He himself will be responsible for a number of Key Customers directly.
He is expected to acquire good detailed knowledge of our products to be able to explain their usage and application to our customers.
He is expected to plan call routs of our salesmen and the visit of our customers. He is also expected to hold daily “Sales Meeting” to receive previous day’s report and briefing the sales team of day’s activity.
He is also expected to hold weekly detailed meeting with the sales team to discuss present and future plans and problems with them. He is expected to submit a daily report to the management of activities and informing any developments of interest or problems. He is to be vigilant of the competitive brands and inform the management of measures to be taken. His responsibilities will cover initially Jeddah and eventually he will cover Mecca, Taif and Medina branches.

Skills

Fluency in English and Arabic.
Computer literate.
Driving license.
Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and marketing of quality food products.
Experience in merchandising.
Good man-manager. Good communicational and negotiation skills.
Must be able to enter the holy areas in Mecca and Medina.

Remuneration:
Remuneration is in line with the qualification and experience. However the position pays a basic salary as well as commission which will be divulged to the qualified candidate.

Education

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
