Job Description
Our client, a worldwide event and exhibition services company is currently seeking to recruit A Scenic Carpenter (5 Nos.) The role requires that they liaise with relevant Project Managers and brief the scenic team, made up of various skill levels, to ensure that the correct materials are specified on the job and that the delivery is well thought through. A primary responsibility is to ensure the quality of the production in the interest of the client and the brand. All internal and external communication and the elements of events, which the scenic team are responsible for, must be carried out in a professional and competent manner.The individuals must have the ability to work calmly under pressure and to inspire his colleagues to act in the same manner. Using the local supplier base and working in sometimes challenging environments is all part of the role. All aspects of work to be carried out to the highest possible standard of safety while meeting company's standards and client expectations.
Skills
The candidates we are looking for would ideally be time served tradesmen who also have experience in one or more of the following Events, exhibition stands, conferences and product launches, TV and film sets. Theater. Must be able to use and read Vectorworks CAD. Meet with clients to take and develop briefs, prepare quotations and estimate on-site schedule and crewing.
