Draft contracts for high value, frequent or risky projects within the timeframe and protect TECOM commercial rights from being misused by external suppliers by negotiating clauses with suppliers for the benefit of TECOM.
Coordinates negotiations on contractual terms with suppliers, business units, legal and the concerned management staff.
Coordinates with project managers/ business units to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled and maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices.
Perform all aspects of contract risks assessments and develops innovative risk mitigation strategies, plans, and solutions in alignment with Procurement and Business Unit strategies. Recommend viable solutions in a timely and professional manner.
Reviews and evaluates customer requests for changes in or revisions of Contracts that involve technical specifications, cost, or schedule impact.
Administer contracts in accordance with Company and Customer policies and procedures. Provide evaluation, interpretation and analysis of contract documents and correspondence.
Maintain organized contract management process. Assure that the contract library is updated with the scanned copies of the contracts along with the summary.
Drafting procurement contracts, LOIs, SLAs, NDAs spanning various categories such as facilities management, service providers, consultancies, IT and marketing..
Must possess significant contract management experience in the planning, development, negotiation, and administration for large complex projects
Excellent writing skills with the ability to reduce to writing complex business concepts into clear, concise, and unambiguous contractual language.
Highly skilled in contract disputes, negotiations and resolution. Develops strategies to resolve and manage potential problems on major contracts to effectively meet organizational goals and objectives.
Able to critically review, draft and negotiate amendments and changes to contractual agreements
Able to interact professionally with various levels of management in the Business unit, Legal and supplier.
Serves as an expert resource for the branch on policies and procedures related to procurement and contracts.
Skills
Bachelors Degree in any Engineering discipline, Business Administration or in Law or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
Professional certification in CPCM (Certified Professional in Contract Management)/ PMP preferred
Skills
Mid management level, 6-8 years experience in contracts and tenders development Excellent communication, team work, negotiation, problem solving, decision making and customer satisfaction skills
Provides guidance and work leadership on Sourcing Team, and may have supervisory responsibilities
Good knowledge of contract law, indemnity, liability and insurance provisions
High level of proficiency in English both written and oral, Arabic knowledge preferred.
Education
Bachelors Degree in any Engineering discipline, Business Administration or in Law or the equivalent
