Working with a leading Planning, Architectural and engineering consultancy, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Design Engineer (minimum of 15 years independently running full life cycle of the role) for projects based In Doha. Reporting to the project director, successful candidates must have a proven track record of delivering complex Road, highway & Infrastructure project.
Furthermore, Candidates will require a BSc / BEng Civil Engineering qualification or similar and must be Chartered or actively working towards Chartered status.
As a proven Resident Engineer you will have a track record working on complex major construction projects. You will possess either a Degree or HNC and will have the drive and confidence to work in a professional site or office based team. You will need to be results driven and someone who is able to work at a fast pace in a team with energy and focus. You will also have previously worked as a Resident Engineer on a similar value project or now be looking to progress onto large more prestigious work.
15 years of relevant design experience and at least 5 years of experience working as a highway designer.
Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD software; Civil 3D is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be familiar with AASHTO processes, policies and procedures used in the development of plans and specification for highway design projects.
