We are looking for a Senior Developer to be part of a team of developers in implementing web based software applications and systems. We believe in using the best tool for the job, so we build our systems using the Drupal framework. We insist that our senior developers stay on top of web trends, pushing us to adopt technologies that will better the experience for us and our clients.

This role requires expert knowledge of Drupal modules (such as Views, CCK, taxonomy, pathauto, etc.) and their functions, and be able to suggest how to best build a Drupal system to meet the needs and objectives of our website/portals. Some of those needs include integration with the third party APIs.

The successful senior candidate will have the following skills, abilities and/or qualifications:

Experience and knowledge of Drupal
Hunger to learn and apply new technologies
Passionate about web 2.0 and open source technologies
Commitment to producing high quality software
Familiar with Agile development practices

Skills

Scripting languages like Perl, Python, Ruby or similar languages
Experience with modern AJAX JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous, Mootools, or similar libraries
Experience with standards compliant XHTML and CSS
Experience working in modern web application architecture such SOAP and REST web services
Experience working with XML, XSLT, JSON or similar
Experience generating and optimizing SQL queries
Experience designing and administering databases including MySQL and SQL Server
Experience using Content Management Systems, Joomla, Wordpress or similar applications
Experience using version control systems such as SVN or Git
