Job Description
Candidate to provide with full responsibility and accountability a technical service to the Corporation for onshore projects in all areas of Mechanical Engineering works during the various stages from conceptual design to commissioning ensuring that designs are in compliance with the latest Codes, Standards, National and Corporate requirements and procedures.
Liaises with Project Engineers other Disciplines Engineers and End Users in order to develop cost effective, safe and fit-for-purpose design solutions to meet corporate requirements.
Reviews mechanical equipment design and carries out selection of equipment i.e. vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, pumps, compressors, turbines etc;
BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University and preferably with corporate membership of a recognized chartered or other professional institution.
10 to 12 years post graduate experience in design and installation supervision of plant and equipment of which at least 8 years will have been in the oil and gas industry.
