Job Description
This job is related to the responsibility on maintaining the Equipment, Machinery and the Building with all services of all restaurants / facilities as listed under each brand
1. Authorize local purchases for approved / budgeted jobs (as per matrix).
2. Schedules
- Responsible for the Preventive Maintenance schedule to be timely produced
3. Restaurant Equipment Audits (as per a set schedule)
4. Technician Training
- Determine training requirements.
- Schedule and Implement
5. Technical supervision for quality of material and workmanship.
- All Kitchen Equipment.
- Refrigeration.
- Air conditioning and Ventilation.
- Electrical network.
- Plumbing network
6. General
- Monitor vehicle stocks (within Kuwait)
- Emergency spares
- Fast moving parts.
- Maintain the vehicle (within Kuwait)
- Check on vehicle neatness & cleanliness.
- Check on tools & instruments.
- Maintain cash float
- Evaluate maintenance staff (semi-annual)
- Appraise maintenance staff as per company’s policies and procedures (Quarterly)
- Certify Technician’s weekly time spent, materials used, jobs carried out
- Certify on technician Overtime Hours
7. Projects -
- Assist in Technical Requirements.
- Commissioning New Equipments
- Ventilation Works Balancing
8. Contracts such as Duct Clean/ Drain clean etc.
- Schedule
- Supervise
- Certify for Payment
9. Cost Control on Maintenance Works -
- Purchasing of parts
- Jobs Contracted
10. Special Events -
- Assist in Technical requirements
- Plan, Organize, Schedule & Execute
11. Restaurants technical Requirements
- Prepare Scope of Work
- Prepare BOQ
- Cost Estimations etc.
- Follow on job orders (upon receiving approvals)
- Supervise the work & certify for payment.
12. Responsible for the total welfare of the respective Brand responsible for.
13. Restaurant Audits on a regular basis and in a structured manner
- Responsible for immediate action on unsafe conditions.
- Responsible for scheduling and executing (as per Company policy and procedure) all necessary corrective action and/or necessary repairs.
