Role
Description
Operating the construction management and control computerized system SICON with data updating and assistance to field users
1) Load the system with project data received by the Engineering Dept.
2) Maintaining the update data either from external sources (construction contractor) and from engineering databases.
3) Support field users.
4) Issuing periodical progress and statistical reports from the system.
5) Verifying data format consistency.
6) Liaise with technical department to download updated engineering information.
7) Problem solving with field users.
8) Main Internal interface: Construction Manger, Field Project Control Coordinator, Discipline Superintendent, Field Quality Coordinator, Field Engineering, home office Construction Department, Engineering Department.
Nature of Job: “Sistema Informatico della CONstruzione” - SICON, is an integrated software designed by Snamprogetti for monitoring the construction progress of all phases of the work.SICON consists of a series of modules, each designed to manage and control specific activities or aspects of construction and its completion.
o Issue access rights to different SICON modules for the users
o Update the database accordingly when it arrives from the specific position responsible
o Provide training for the new users in using the software
o Distribute periodic reports produced by the software
o Provide routine maintenance of project data
Skills
The candidates MUST meet the below requirements:
- Technical diploma/degree
- Minimum 2 years experienced with “Sistema Informatico della Construzione” - SICON,
- Technical software knowledge
- Multidisciplinary quantity surveyor
- Capability and ability to read and interpret engineering & technical drawing
- Knowledge in Oil & Gas construction plans sequences
- Age < 55
