    Site planning in charge (Oil & Gas)

    Job Description

    KEY ROLES

    Site Planning In-charge is responsible for implementation of Project Control system i.e. Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring & Reporting procedures.

    1.0 Scheduling & Reporting

    Prepare Work Breakdown Structure, development of Level 3, Level 4 Project Schedule with resource loading, Development of Progress Measurement System & S-Curve. Development of Drawing & Document deliverable schedule, Material Tracking Register.

    Client approval of baseline schedule, PMS with in 1-3 months from commencement date.

    Preparation & update Micro-Schedule from Level 3 Schedule

    Update Project Schedule Vs Baseline, S-Curve on monthly basis. Update PMS on weekly basis & alarm project team for any slippage in schedule.

    Preparation of 3 Month Look Ahead Schedule. 4 Week Look Ahead Schedule.

    Site Planning In-Charge has to Set Monthly Target as per Project schedule, Target has to reviewed & approved by CM/PM. CM has to ensure the implementation of Monthly Target.

    Site Planning In-Charge is responsible for accuracy of reports being generated for Site / HO Management review. Preparation of Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports.

    Delay Analysis, Critical Path delay analysis & assist PM for preparation of Claim
    2.0 Scope Management

    Scope Planning, Scope verification & Scope Change Control. Monitor Contractual BOQ, AFC release BOQ, Site/Field Instruction, extra work & Prepare Scope Change Request & Claim.
    3.0 Material Planning

    Site Planning In-Charge is responsible for Overall Material Planning.

    Quantity Surveyor has to provide necessary BOQ with relevant Specification to Planning In-Charge for timely purchase of material.

    Site Planning In-Charge is responsible for raising PRN in time, CM, Discipline Heads, to assist requirement in advance based on Project Schedule

    Site Planning In-Charge to Monitor Material Tracking Register (From Requisition to Site Delivery)
    4.0 Resource Deployment Plan

    Site Planning In-Charge to generate backup of Deployment Plan based on balance Quantity Plan & Productivity consideration & ensure accuracy to data i.e. BOQ, Completed Qty, Actual Productivity achieved.

    CM to confirm future deployment/requirement and their accuracy of estimation.

    Adherence to Deployment Plan is responsibility of CM/PM.

    Site Planning In-Charge to alarm for variation and excess usage of resources on weekly basis to CM/PM & HOD.

    Earn Value Analysis on monthly basis and submit EVA to PM, CM & Discipline Heads

    Site Planning In-Charge to submit Variation Analysis report for excess usages of resources on monthly basis along with Deployment Plans.

    Site Planning Engineer is not responsible for arrangement of day to day resource like Manpower, Equipment & Material.

    5.0 Coordination

    Planning/Project Coordinator to monitor Engineering Drawing Register, Document Register of Engineering Subcontractor on Weekly basis, Highlight the delays.

    Planning/Project Coordinator to prepare Material Tracking Register for Project Material based on Schedule.

    Organizing Daily, Weekly & Monthly internal review meeting at Site. Prepare MoM of Weekly, Monthly review and update status of action points and communicate to project team.

    Coordination with Procurement for material purchase/delivery

    Coordination with QA/QC, Client for status of MAS approval, Method statement approval.

    Coordination with Vender, Sub-contractor for timely mobilization at site

    Coordination with HR for timely mobilization of manpower

    Coordination with Plant for timely mobilization of Plant & Equipment, Break down replacement

    6.0 Site Visit

    Site Planning In-Charge shall visit site to physically verify progress, constrains as & when required.
