Job Description

Responsible for all site regulatory inspections related to safety and fire safety.
• Conducts Daily inspections on contractors and event groups to ensure that works done are in accordance to required safety/fire safety standards and house rules that will include PPE, Tool Box Talks, Equipment/Machinery Safety, House Keeping, Barricades/signage’s, chemical use/storage and other Inspections, propose corrective actions for non conformance incidents, ensure closure and submits daily reports .
• Conducts Weekly TC inspections to ensure compliance to agreed QHSE standards.
• Conducts Monthly Building/Restaurant/Energy Centre inspections to ensure all works are in compliance to agreed safety/fire safety regulations and House Rules, propose corrective actions for non conformance incidents, ensure closure and submits Monthly reports.
• Reviews inspections records and maintenance done on the fire protection systems to ensure that they are in compliance to required standards.
• Assist in QHSE orientation trainings and other such basic trainings when required.
• Assist in PTW processing and release as required.
• Assist in Emergency Evacuation & Table Top Exercises and submits necessary reports.
• Assist in Investigating Accidents and Incidents as required..
• Assist in QHSE Campaigns and Programmes as required.
• Assist in QHSE Audits.
• Participate in Monthly QHSE Meetings including sharing/presenting key observations.
• Carries out any other duties as requested by the Safety & Security Manager.

Skills

• Minimum Recognize Safety Management Diploma (NEBOSH/OSHA)
• Supported with valid QHSE & Inter Audit Certifications (preferable)
• Fire Safety Management Certification (NFPA) (Preferable)
• Minimum 3 to 5 Years Safety Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application
