Job Description

We are currently hiring a SharePoint Solution Architect to add to our rapidly growing SharePoint team. This Solution Architect will provide technical and team leadership to multiple exciting projects. Projects include new SharePoint implementations, upgrades from previous versions, governance and platform strategy as well as a custom solution delivery provided by development or configuration tools.
The Solution Architect will also be engaged early with prospective customers in the sales cycle to provide technical demonstrations and help support the overall sales effort.

2.Strong ability to assist clients with business requirements for their solutions and create the appropriate information architecture, technical architecture, and solution approach.

3.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business both verbally and in writing.

4.Ability to lead complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming and unit testing for line-of-business applications based on Microsoft technologies.
5.Experience producing end-user and technical documentation.

6.Ability to work independently with users and executives to expand the use of SharePoint to address business issues.

7.Can help others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function.

Skills

1.Expert level SharePoint Experience with SharePoint 2007 (MOSS) and SharePoint 2010 with mid to large enterprise deployments using Microsoft best practices. In-depth knowledge of system design and architecture in both technologies and experience in both distributed/multiple farm architecture and design.

2.Knowledge of SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 R2 security and authentication processes as it related to SharePoint technologies. High level knowledge of database mirroring/replication along with backup and recovery techniques within SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 R2 technologies.

3.Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, JQuery) is required.

4.Developing custom solutions with Visual Studio including custom forms, web parts, and workflow solutions.

5.In-depth understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation and ASP.NET technology.

6.Considerable knowledge of design patterns and must have hands-on development and architectural experience with highly customized solutions
7.Must be able to define, both verbally and in writing, technical architecture and functional requirements, and can participate in Technical Assessment engagements.

8.Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory as it related to SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010.

9.Intermediate experience with conducting mid to large content/farm upgrading from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010.

10.Understanding of process automation and Business Process Management as it relates to possible custom solutions.
