    Job Description

    To serve guests and members in accordance with the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites standards of quality, presentation and sanitation, in a gracious and professional manner. To display aggressive hospitality and professionalism with guests, management and co – workers.


    To check the medical status of the guest before starting the treatment
    To be responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and preparation of the spa areas and all equipments to be used for conducting the treatment.
    To educate guests about the different types of treatment and its benefits during enquiries, up selling during or before starting the therapy.
    To be responsible in the event of staff sickness, emergency etc. to carry out other duties in any part of the Spa, Health Club or Swimming Pool area as requested by the Spa Manager
    To decline private massage requests from guests, members or outside guests in a savvy manner.
    To follow the opening and closing procedures of the spa.
    To inform the Spa Manager on a daily basis of any faults, defects or maintenance requirements.
    To attend all departmental meetings and training sessions.
    To be trained and conversant in all health and safety, fire training and first aid procedures
    To adhere to and respect shift timings, lunch and dinner breaks as laid down by the Manager and to follow the Hotel's time card and clock in/out procedure.
    To ensure that you pay attention to personal hygiene and cleanliness and that you and your area are always well presented.
    To ensure that you are always courteous and friendly to guests, attentive to their needs, handle problems in a sympathetic and professional manner, attempting to resolve these problems as quickly and informally as possible and are conscious of the importance of safety.
    To carry out other duties as instructed by Spa Manager

    Skills

    Experience:
    • Previous working experience in a 5* hotel health club/spa or similar environment preferred.
    Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong Communication skills
    • Pro-active and reliable
    • Able to work alone and within a team
    Education or Certification
    • Good level of English essential
    • Certified in massage therapy.
