Job Description
- Plan and supervise craft activities including heavy rigging, crane operation, scaffolding, and insulation at different plant areas to ensure execution in safest manner and in accordance to applicable standards.
- Arrange load tests of crane, and rigging equipment as per PM plan and keep proper record. Coordinate with garage section for PM / CM of equipment.
- Maintain disciplined, safe and environment friendly working conditions through strict compliance to company's safety, environment and all other policies and procedures.
- Utilize workshop resources effectively to minimize dependency on outsource requirements.
- Generate demands, arrange and inspect scaffolding, rigging, insulation material.
- Conduct/arrange training of subordinates to enhance their skill level.
- Prepare annual performance appraisals of craft staff.
Skills
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of heaving, rigging/lifting, scaffolding jobs.
- Good know-how of working and maintenance of rigging tools.
- Knowledge of crane operation and insulation work would be added advantage.
- Working knowledge of computer and commonly used softwares like MS Word, Excel etc.
