Job Description

The Supply Chain Executive position is to support the BAT Egypt Supply Chain function and manage the business relations between BAT and third party business partners. This will involve the partnership management in respect of performance and relationship with the third party logistics service providers (3PLs), various Customs Offices (Nasr City, 6th October, Alex Port, Cairo International Airport etc) and Port Authorities with whom BAT Egypt deals with, either directly or indirectly, on a regular basis. The incumbent must ensure that all third parties operate in accordance with local and international regulations, COMESA and other trade agreements, the Customs Act and any form of signed contracts and/or SLAs between BAT Egypt and the third parties.

Skills

•Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or Management.
•Supply Chain functional knowledge e.g. Supplier Management (3PL), Logistics
•Detailed import / export knowledge and experience
•Sound knowledge of warehouse and Inventory management
•Basic knowledge of EHS, security and insurance polices and practices
•High degree of systems knowledge, especially SAP.
•Awareness of BCP and risk management techniques
• Influencing and Leadership skills
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
