Job Description

The Role:



Plan stock/intake requirements to meet the budgeted sales. Manage the range building and/or selection/buying process of ranges. Maintain gross profit on purchases and/or net profit on sales in line with overall Business expectations.


Responsibilities:


Manage ordering / forecasting of merchandise.

Decide product procurement through host brand range reviews, including new collection launches.

Assess store execution of merchandising plans, recommend minimum quantity required based on store trends / category sales performance.

Ensure accurate and timely production of reports needed to review business performance.

Develop relationships with internal/ external contacts, and assess appropriate & critical information.

Identify /plan promotional events, & deliver in consultation with Operations and Host brand.

Pro-actively utilize available software / systems & identify improvements / requirements for further action.

Manage / maintain stock file accuracy with a focus on auditable elements.

Skills

Skills & Experience:


•Minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising or supply chain.

•Highly numerate with advanced analytical skills.

•Good understanding of IT and financial and merchandise planning
