TECHNICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TRAINING INSTITUTE LLC (TATI) in partnership of MINISTRY OF MANPOWER (MoM) is looking for NATIVE ENGLISH LECTURERS-English Mother Tongue (UK, US, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa) who will be assigned in different colleges in Sultanate of Oman.

Qualifications:

Education:
MA/M.Ed (English/Applied Linguistics/TEFL/TESOL)
(or)
BA English + Post Graduate Diploma in EFL/ESL
(or)
B.Ed (4 years program in English/Applied Linguistic/TEFL/TESOL)

Work Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years post degree in the field of ELT in College/University/ or in Polytechnic
Experience in Smart class, Multi-media and Self Access teaching.

Applicants should be a Native English Speaker

Brief Job Description:

Teach English subjects and ensure that students reach their full potential through the use of innovative teaching materials and continuous research on the subject matter; Plan and manage the class through systematic lesson plan based on the curriculum presented by the Ministry of Manpower; Provide continuous assistance and counseling to students on subject matter; and Carrying out any others tasks assigned by the concerned heads of center, department or section.

Salary (Tax Free):
Rial Omani 1385 - (approximately equivalent to USD 3600)
Salary Break Down:
Basic - Rial Omani 1000,
Housing allowance - Rial Omani 250
Other Allowances - Rial Omani 135

Other Details:
Working Days: Five (5) Days in a week (from Saturday to Wednesday)
Holidays: Two (2) Days in a week (Thursday and Friday) and all declared Holidays as per OMAN Law
Working Hours: Eight (8) hours /Day during the weekdays
Class Size: 20-25 Students (depend on college)
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (September to second week of July)
Class Level: Different Levels (Pre-elementary, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced)
Age of Students: 18 - 25 yrs. Old (High Secondary School Graduation
