Job Description

Brilliants Preschool - a nursery and preschool located at Mubarak Al Kabeer- is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced native English speaking teachers (full time) for September 2012, in the following
areas:
1. Provides activities and experiences to meet the needs, interests and abilities of students.
2. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
3. Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
4. Assesses the academic and behavioral status of children on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required.
5. Maintains a safe and healthy environment.
6. Establishes and maintains, with the support of administrators, standards of pupil behavior appropriate to the activity.
7. Maintains professional competence through participation in in-service education activities provided by the institution and/or self-selected professional growth activities.
8. Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
9. Prepares for classes assigned and develops general lesson plans related to established curriculum goals.
10. Takes reasonable precautions to protect children, equipment, materials and facilities.
11. Makes a reasonable effort to cooperate professionally with other members of the staff.
12. Assists in the selection of books, equipment and other instructional materials.

Skills

- Minimum 3-5 years teaching experience in international schools.
- English language fluency.
- Knowledge of Internet & MS Office.
- Teachers must be native English speakers

Education:
At least Bachelor in the requested subject or an equivalent university degree, with some courses in Education.
