Technical Manager - Quality Control

Job Description

Reporting directly to the General Manager concerning maintenance programs, engineering activities, quality assurance, safety and ISO related jobs.
Coordinate with the production, purchasing & other departments to ensure that programs are on schedule, scope and within budget.
Conducts feasibility study & market research on metal sheets & material specs, costing analysis, production process flow & design conceptualization for company expansion project.
Handling the maintenance department which is responsible for the facilities management which includes fixed assets, preventive & corrective maintenance of machinery equipment. Manages all maintenance activities related to electrical equipment such as LV, HV and Gen-sets, Motors and air compressors.
Tasked to ensure that a quality system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 and reports on the performance of the quality system to the management for review.
Liaised to external parties concerning quality systems and procedures.
Manages the sales team in providing services to the customer inquiries and requirements on delivery, pricing quality, technical information and support from conceptualization up to delivery and collection.
Provide relevant training to effectively use machinery / equipment to the staff concerning its application (press machine / bending machine, etc)
Visit existing and potential customers to introduce new products and facilitate communications between the company and customer to resolve issues efficiently.
Assist in facilitating closed loop communication of all sales matters and issues through regular Sales Meetings.
Assist in generating and executing targets to improve sales.

Skills

Minimum 7 years experience in Metal Fabrication Industry including atleast 3 years in Quality Control Management
Certified ISO 9001:2008 Auditor
Multitasking abilities and able to work under pressure to deliver results within set schedules
Workforce management abilities
Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus
Good at MS Office Applications specifically Word & Excel
