Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description

Jotun Paints is a well-known producer of paints and powder coatings since 1927. UGC (Jotun Jordan) wishes to recruit personnel for the Jordan market as per the qualification and experience stated.

We are seeking to hire Sales Engineer specialized in selling anti-corrosion products to the steel industry in Jordan. The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical or civil Engineering. Only candidates with proven track record in selling building material will be considered for this position. This position requires significant travel within Jordan.

Responsibilities include:
• Development of a strong vendor network
• Must be familiar with the public and private bidding processes and their respective stages
• Understands and is able to implement various closing techniques, including being able to read client sales triggers
• Must be able to quickly identify and qualify sales opportunities that are viable versus those that are less likely to produce a sale
• Must be available to travel throughout sales territory as required
• Responsible to keep abreast of market trends and product or regional developments
• Must maintain a complete sales contact database

Skills

Engineering Degree with minimum 2 - 3 yrs work experience as Sales Engineer.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong Computer skills.
• Should be self-motivated and performance driven.
