Our client is a global leader in passive fire protection and related thermal insulation for the construction, petrochemical and tunnel industries, offering specifiers and applicators superior value by providing the widest range of effective solutions is currently seeking to recruit a dynamic Technical Sales Manager - Petrochemical Business Segment (PBS)This vacancy will build on recent development and successes that have already been achieved in Kuwait and Qatar. With greater emphasis at group level, increased product portfolio, significant major projects being awarded and continued competitor threat a dedicated person for these countries has been introduced within the company Middle East team. Manage the commercial profitability of the business segment, strategic planning, and specific sector business analysis to ensure budgets are met within Kuwait and Qatar. Develop sales and marketing plans for submission and approval through the company in the ME and Petrochemical Business Segment (PBS) management team, to develop and expand the existing business. General Specifications with Clients and EPC to ensure Promat products are included on all key vendor list. Client Specification is essential for the success of the business unit within the region. Maintain, establish and build key relationships with decision makers within key RTM to provide continuity and baseline sales results. Establish and maintain key relationships with the Agent Distributor in Kuwait and Qatar to ensure future growth opportunities are maximised. Identify, evaluate, establish and measure performance of new and existing Promat Recognised Applicators (PRA) in partnership with the Sales Manager to ensure performance against set objectives are delivered. Develop existing product and application opportunities and introduce new products with the support of the PBS team. Liaise with PBS team and work in collaboration with other PBS colleagues to ensure the global success of the PBS team.

Requirements Company's Middle East PBS segment has been formed to provide a greater degree of focus, effort and delivery within the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical sector. Previous development and successes have been achieved however, with greater emphasis at group level, increased product portfolio, significant major projects being awarded and continued competitor threat a dedicated person has been introduced to the countries of Kuwait and Qatar. Kuwait is a major market for the company's PBS with strong relationships in KOC and KNPC. In additional this role will also have responsibility for the Qatar oil, gas and petrochemical market. This role requires a wide range of technical, commercial, engineering, cultural and varying interpersonal approaches in a diverse demanding marketplace. There is a high level of technical know how and expertise that is required of the role holder. The candidate is required to be highly adaptable to the differing styles and business detail required from a range of different audiences both internally and external to the organisation. Cognisance of the balance between group level communication, senior management communication and communication with peers. This role will require travel and periods away from the Kuwait office.
