TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Description

SWITCH-­‐MADE MIDDLE EAST based in Dubai is looking for a
Technical Sales Support Engineer & Lighting designer (Autocad/Dialux). Under the authority of the Chief Operating Officer, the employee will be responsible of all technical matters related to our products and their implementation (samples preparation, specifications of products, lighting studies etc…).
He will advise and/or design lighting studies (Lux calculation) and be able to present them to the clients.

Responsibilities & Requirements

- Cheking the drawings and provide alternatives/proposal
 Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals in Lighting Industry/Competitor details
- Lighting designs
 Good knowledge in “Dialux & Autocad software” for the internal/façade lighting design
- Sample preparation/presentation
 Responsible for preparing the working samples as per the sales request
- Techical support for the sales team
 Good knowledge in AutoCAD/3Dmax/DMX programming/Esa pro or Easy Stand Alone.
- Site Visit (as per the client request) for the lighting proposal
 The ability to go independently on site to suggest suitable solutions
- Connection/Installation details to the client
 The ability to go independently on site and provide technical support and suggestions
- After Sales Report & Evaluation
 The ability to identify the root cause

The candidate is required also to have the ability to be a good listener, and to really understand a customer problem or question and help them solve it. To have good writing skills, to be able to make report to our Headquarter when requested.
