    Training Specialist

    Job Description

    Role Summary
    As a Retail Training Specialist, you will implement training and development programs for employees including the development and delivery of training courses and workshops. You will ensure that training provided supports the aim and objectives of the organization.

    Main Functions
    • Training Delivery: Prepares training material and delivers training
    • Designs training package:
    - Participates in developing and implementing the induction process and modules for new staff
    - Produces and maintains a suite of in-house training courses, workshops to be delivered on rolling program based on both the organization and individuals needs
    - Carries out training evaluation to ensure high quality of service
    - Amends and revises programs assigned to him/her as necessary on order to adapt to changes that occur in the work environment
    • Maintains occupational training:
    - Supervises on-job trainings (OJT) of employees and maintains OJT checklists
    - Abides by the statutory training requirements
    - Ensures the integration of new recruits and follow up on the OJT
    - Maintains and supervises the induction program of new employees
    • Monitors training efficiency:
    - Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
    - Develops audit materials and conducts regular audits
    - Assesses the Return on Investment (ROI) of any training plan
    • Keeps training calendar:
    - Abides by the training calendar and communicates calendar

    Skills

    • Minimum 3 years experience in Training preferably in Retail or Hospitality
    • BA degree in Business, HR Certificate is a plus
    • Fluency in English
    • Very good communication skills
    • Organization and planning skills
