Visual Merchandising Manager

Job Description

• Manage the development of creative and innovative visual merchandising solutions for the concept to maximise market share
• Plan and manage visual merchandising tasks to minimise expenditure and maximise productivity within the allocated budget
• Co-ordinate with Buyers, Marketing, Store Operations, Projects in determining specific visual merchandising needs for conceptualisation and design of visual merchandising solutions such as fixtures, image photos and point of sale materials
• Plan and develop the visual merchandising calendar for the concept
• Manage construction and documentation of in-store creative and window guidelines
• Plan and ensure development of new season and brand update store set ups
• Ensure development and training of in-store team on merchandising standards, space planning, store layout and other visual merchandising techniques
• Supervise accurate execution of in-store visual merchandising display and standards
• Manage and support recruitment when required
• Able to interpret principles merchandising guidelines.

Skills

• Must be a candidate from known apparel brands
• Must possess excellent organizational skills,
• Valid UAE Driving license preferred
• Must be good at communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong creative flair and effective problem solving abilities.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• As the employee will be responsible for creating and changing visual displays, he / she will need to be able to push, lift, and carry 30-50 pounds of merchandise and fixtures.
