Job Description

Our client, a high profile British company is currently seeking to recruit VSAT engineer site manager . This position will be based in Erbil-Iraq Iraq Reports into ME office (Dubai), with dotted line to head office in UK Duties In response to tenders, design and document RF and microwave solutions for customers Support pre-sales activities and team as required Represent company to customer representatives and attend meetings as needed Manage local office and team as required Source local contractors as required and monitor performance Source equipment locally as required Be able to specify, design and support significant scale RF and microwave solutions Be familiar with project planning and delivery basics Be able to troubleshoot and support multiple RF circuits simultaneously Be able to troubleshoot and perform basic IP voice data network activities Be able to design basic support and troubleshooting protocols that other members of team can follow Work with ME office to regularly review current RF and microwave networks and propose improvements Character personality Self starter with ability to manage own time and workload Punctual and reliable, with good communication skills Able to work remotely with minor oversight from Dubai office Comfortable with short deadlines, works well under pressure Able to be flexible with working patterns Able to integrate easily and well into a fast-paced and dynamic team Believe in the importance of good service to customers
