Description
The Managed Services Specialist, Infrastructure Team Leader will provide exceptional support for our managed network and security services customers operating across the GCC. You will come with system administration and management experience with technologies such as Vmware, and various storage systems such as NetApp and Dell. This is a hands-on role in a multi-tenant environment with access to many complex and virtualized micro-segmented infrastructure. With the importance of automation Redhat ansible is required to assist in the automation efforts. The role involves migrating customers to a VMware cloud using replication technologies. Have a strong disaster recovery understanding is key.
Responsibilities
Plan, design and implement customer solutions and configuration changes. Provide Level 1 and 2 with adequate technical tools for monitoring and managing systems. Maintain and monitor the Data Center and NOC infrastructure. Advanced problem troubleshooting/isolation. Advanced problem resolution following written procedures. New procedures creations/initiations. Procedures maintenance and validation. Report creation, validation & distribution. Trigger technical escalation processes. Capacity planning. Delivery reception and inventory. Handling backup platforms and operations. Managing SAN and storage configurations and troubleshooting. Managing the infrastructure (Physical, Virtual). Managing the backup solutions particularly Veeam. Managing the cloud platform. Responsible of the platforms system patching and updates. NOC projects execution. New customer implementation plan execution. Documentation of installation set-up and configuration. Perform acceptance tests of the service in collaboration with the project manager. Provide technical support (Level 1 and Level 2 when needed) on all Data Center products and solutions. This includes being part of the after-hours on-call rotation support. Assist in other related activities and projects as necessary. Availability to work outside Normal Working Hours for urgent matters.
Requirements
Computer and Communication Engineer (CCE) or another degree in relevant discipline VMware Certified Professional (VCP) NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA/NCIE) Microsoft Server MCSE Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible or RHCE 4-6 years of experience in Systems (Operating systems, Virtualization, Storage, database, Exchange, backup etc.) Hands-on experience in configuring, supporting, and managing virtualization solutions, backup, and replication solutions Experience in Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting replication solutions Experience in Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting monitoring solutions Experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting storage, and backup appliances. Service Desk and Network management tools knowledge Systematic and Process oriented Troubleshooting skills Communication skills* Proficiency in the Arabic and English language proficiency is a must.
