* Provide technical and professional services and solutions to the projects' enquiries and needs using the engineering background.
* Maintain an organized filing system to record all projects correspondences.

Freight Manager - Alyasra Food Co.

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Freight Manager is responsible for managing all inbound/outbound freight operations for Al Yasra Foods Company. The Freight Manager will lead initiatives that will reduce freight costs and improve freight service levels. The Freight Manager will work alongside a wide range of internal and external stakeholders utilising his/her excellent freight knowledge and expertise to deliver agreed objectives in line with the overall business strategy.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• To develop the overall freight operational strategy and direction in alignment with the company’s strategy.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Investigate and plan the most appropriate route for shipments, taking account of the nature of the goods, cost, transit time and security.
• Negotiate freight contracts, transportation and handling costs.
• Reduce freight costs and improve freight service levels.
• Lead strategic freight cost saving initiatives with suppliers.
