Chief financial Officer/ Finance Director (2 positions)

LOCATIONS: NORTH AFRICA (FRENCH SPEAKING), EAST AFRICA (ENGLISH SPEAKING)

GENERAL MISSION
We are handling 2 exciting senior finance assignments for Hospitality specialist finance professionals who are truly global in their outlook and proven self starters. Our client is a renowned Sovereign Wealth Fund that needs proven self starters to implement state of the art finance and control systems to ensure their outstanding hotels are managed and operated to global best standards.
These roles will report to the local CEO with a strong reporting line to the Dubai based Group CFO who control group funding and establish best group practice, reporting standards and risk management procedures.
As CFO you will be fully responsible for the accounting, administration, legal and funding aspects of the properties. You will monitor the hotel operators, produce and analyze the Profit and Loss account, and be a critical part of the management team to ensure the property delivers the required return on investment targets established by the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To supervise daily Finance operations, recruit and manage the team to manage the finance, administration and funding of the hotel operations.
• To ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all revenue generated by the hotel is properly recorded and properly entered into the accounting and management systems
• Manage the production of management reports, and in consultation with the CEO and Dubai head office establish annual, quarterly and monthly budgets and operating plans for the hotels.
• To assist head office in acquiring and renewing the Hotel Operating Licenses and registration of point of sales with the Revenue Department.
• To assist Credit Manager in minimizing all outstanding credit balances
• To follow up on the control of guest folio, restaurant and bar checks and on the tracing of missing documents
• To establish adequate operating and audit controls to minimize losses and maximize operating efficiencies.

Business Controller - Business Enhancers

a. Professional Accountant with CPA qualifications from AICPA (USA) or Equivalent
b. Must be able to join within one month.
c. Must know fluent English
d. Age around 33 to 35 years
e. Job experience must be in reporting, taxation, receivables management, inventory management, internal controls, finalizing yearly financial and dealing with statutory auditors and tax authorities for all statutory filings.
f. Must have an MNC background with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
g. Must have experience to work on ERP systems (SAP preferred)
h. Must have excellent skill sets in excel, PowerPoint etc
i. Must currently be in a Finance Manager position
j. Salary will be in the range of USD 5,000 to USD 6,000 per month
