    Job Description

    Our client is seeking to recruit a Director of Development that will become a key Management member of their current operations in Qatar. Our client is a leading International Executive Education Business School who have enjoyed continued growth and are now seeking to increase their presence in the GCC and Asia. As a key member of the Management team, the Director of Development serves as the lead business development and market coordinator for Qatar throughout the designated region. The Director’s responsibilities include regional business development, client relations, admissions, alumni and career services.


    Skills

    -Expand and diversify the client base through partnerships with key organisations such as leading educational institutions, government units and corporate entities.
    -Develop yearly strategies for marketing and selling degree and non-degree programs.
    -Maintain an up to date awareness of market needs and competitive offerings and adjust program portfolio as necessary to maintain market leadership.
    -Lead the effort to identify, create and develop innovative programs in response to opportunities.
    -Supervise the admissions process and minimum entrance requirements.
    -Travel regionally to promote the business school and further develop brand recognition and value.
    -Be responsible for the writing of client proposals, participate in contract negotiations with clients with a view to closing deals and assuring client retention.
    -Direct marketing, PR and communications acitivities.
    -Develop the annual media plan and events calendar.
    -Monitor and review department KPIs taking corrective action as necessary.
    -Supervise activities aimed at nurturing the Business School Alumni's.
    -Lead and inspire the Development team; set challenging but achievable goals; instill a culture of high standards; support and mentor as necessary.
    -Collaborate closely with other departments to draw synergies.
    -Consult, collaborate and coordinate with key stakeholders
    -Manage the Department’s budget; maximize value and financial discipline.
