Data for the Bayt.com Personal Branding in the Middle East and North Africa poll was collected online from August16 to September192013, with8,154 respondents from UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.

  • Eight in10 professionals admit Googling themselves at one point or another.
  • Seven in10 professionals are familiar with the concept of personal branding.
  • Nine in10 professionals admit running an online search for people they have met, or are about to meet.
  • 92% say good personal online branding can help you get more interviews, and grow in your career.
  • 71% say that a candidate’s social networking activities has made them change their mind about that person.
