The “Best Cities of the Middle East and North Africa 2010” survey conducted by the Middle East’s #1 job site Bayt.com and research specialist YouGov Siraj surveyed cities in the MENA according to economic factors, labor rights, environmental factors, everyday life factors & socio-cultural factors.Each of these dimensions was analysed and rankings for each dimension were produced as well as overall rankings taking into account living and working conditions in the MENA across all dimensions.
Data for the “Best Cities of the Middle East and North Africa 2010” research report was collected online between 21st October to 7th November 2010 with 11,662 respondents from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. This MENA quality of life survey provides excellent insights for anyone living and working in the Middle East and North Africa region or wishing to relocate to or within the MENA region in search of better jobs or work and career opportunities. Respondents included working professionals from the GCC, Levant and North Africa at all career levels and from a broad spectrum of industries, job roles and socio-demographic profiles.
