Section Manager/ Production Manager - for Plastic Bottles Factory - Dammam

Reports To: Unit Manager

Basic Function:

Responsible for the proper operation of the facility’s blow-molding department. Ensures that all assigned personnel are managed in accordance with company policy, departmental equipments are maintained as per manufacturers’ specifications, and that operating materials are utilized in the most efficient manner possible.

Basic Objective:

To utilize assigned company resources to produce sufficient designated packaging goods to meet the plant’s finished goods requirements.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Administers company policies with respect to the management of assigned personnel, equipment and materials.

B. Develops the departmental operating goals and budget for plant management approval. Controls spending within the approved budget. Explains budget variances in accordance with current company policy.

C. Administers the plant safety policy with respect to the blow-molding department. Enforces the plant electrical lockout policy within the department.

D. Keeps Plant Management informed of any significant personnel and equipment problems or potential problems. Handles employee grievances per company policy.

E. Administers and enforces the company employee practices as published.

F. Recommends to Plant Management all disciplinary actions with respect to his assigned personnel.

G. Ensures that all assigned personnel receive performance evaluations and salary adjustments per company policy. Maintains accurate job descriptions of all approved departmental positions.

H. Counsels subordinates as required, utilizing interaction management techniques.

I. Formulates the departmental training program to maintain personnel proficiency and adequate skill levels. Ensures that appropriate backup personnel are trained and available to maintain continuity of operations.

J. In conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor, formulates, implements, and monitors the Blow-Molding preventive maintenance program.

K. Keeps the Maintenance Supervisor informed of departmental spare parts requirements. Ensures that adequate spares are available.

L. Maintains adequate inventories of assigned raw and / or packaging materials.

M. Ensures that all products are produced in accordance with company manufacturing and quality standards.

N. Minimizes losses or damage to assigned materials and finished goods.

O. Develops cost-savings projects, within his area of responsibility, and implements same, as approved.

P. Recommends the disposal of obsolete, un-repairable parts / equipments to Plant Management.

Q. Ensures that proper housekeeping is maintained within his assigned areas.

R. Ensures that all assigned personnel are properly instructed and drilled in their duties for fire and chlorine emergencies.

S. Performs other duties as assigned.

Relationships:

A. Functions as the reporting senior for all assigned Blow Molding personnel.

B. Reports to the Unit Manager.

C. Interfaces with all other supervisors as necessary to meet plant production requirements.

D. Interfaces with the Plant Accountant in matters of departmental expenditures, invoice coding and departmental budget control.

Measurement of Performance

The performance of the Section Supervisor shall be measured by the degree of effectiveness with which the individual:

A. Administers established policies.

B. Achieves Blow Molding department operating goals and objectives.

C. Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

D. Manages assigned personnel, in terms of training, performance evaluations and salary administration.

E. Keeps his seniors informed regarding his operations.

OPERATIONS SR. SUPERVISOR

Plan Organize Directing & Control of Remote Sites Catering Operations
Reports directly to the Operations Manager Remote site
Direct Subordinates: Remote sites camp bosses/site Managers

Tasks
1. Plan supervise & implement catering operations procedures & schedule in providing camp or site meals housekeeping laundry & pest control services
2. Participate in the development of sites policies work procedures & activities & ensure the same are implemented
3. Supervises & monitors the preparation of foods & ensures that only approved menus are prepared as per the quality plan & procedure
4. Monitors & maintains service level & products standards as per the company’s standards specifications

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Although predominantly based in Venues you will be flexible to rotate between all areas of the Food & Beverage Department.

You will be responsible to assist the Banquet Manager in in the day-to-day leadership including all aspects of operations within the banquets department.
