Productivity refers to the efficiency of output from input. To optimize,focus on high-impact tasks, minimize distractions, and leverage tools that work for you. For example, Progress helps keep me on track with stay productive technique so I can achieve more by doing less.I have found that using productivity techniques has allowed me to pursue my passions without feeling overwhelmed. By focusing on what really matters, I have been able to write a book, learn to code, and strengthen relationships. Hi Irfan , If its basically around workforce productivity , I would categorize them based on3 input parameters:

1. The job at hand 

2.The number of Hours worked

3. The number of people involved in completing the job. 

Based on this, we could look at further analysis from a Qualitative as well as a Quantitative dimension. 

 

Hi Irfan Khan. You often hear about various types of productivity in terms of efficiency of resource utilization:  Eg:> labour productivity, material productivity, machine productivity, time productivity, energy productivity

Labour productivity measures how efficiently you utilize labour. Labour hours per unit production.

Like wise material productivity measures quantity of material consumed per unit production, energy productivity is the quantity of power in KWh consumed per unit of production and so on.

the state or quality of producing something, especially crops.

the effectiveness of productive effort, especially in industry, as measured in terms of the rate of output per unit of input.

Productivity is backbone of any assignment.
