Absolutely true. There are certainly more than one way to solve problems, and one chooses the best that suits him/her. And sure, the other ways may be better approaches and the person should respect other's views/solutions.

There are good answers given by people above and I agree with them..

YES THATS SO TRUE,,,, THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO DO ANY TASK ,,, OBJECTIVE AND BOTTOM LINE MUST BE THE ACHIEVEMENT.... SOME FACTS ARE ESTABLISHED LIKE UNIVERSAL TRUTH SO NO NEED TO TRY IN THOSE ARES WHICH ARE BENCH MARK OR ALREADY DETERMINE BY THE GURU,S ..... OTHERWISE IT IS RIGHT TO FIND NEW INNOVATIVE WAYS TO ACCOMPLISH ANY GIVEN TASK,,,

There are2 aspects to this question . part1 is with the numbers you have mentioned , whereas part2 is respect others way of thinking.

Mathematics is like an established fact . The question reminds me of one of the favourite lines from the book that I read recently. "Everyone is entitled / free to have their own opinion , but everyone cannot have their own fact" . I totally agree that others way of thinking shall be respected and everyone has the right to do so.

Dear Zafar

I value your  view point. What I understand from it despite you know the solution of the problem but you ought to respect others view point also to ensure team stands by you and colloborates well with you.

6+3=9 Is your answer or  solution of the problem  which is correct.

5+4=9,7+2=9 Is what your team mates have arrived at which is equally correct.

Now  if both the solutions are correct and with no effect on end result  you have  accepted to go by your team mates solution which is  a great example of team work

Good Day!!!

Yeah if its mathematics, or a multi directional destination, i am fully agreed with you...... But when there is only one thing to learn, we have to abey the rules and respect the thoughts of our master.

There are certain ways to achieve the objectives, but we have to choose the right way that we learned from our seniors or from our past experiences.

BESIDE ALL ABOVE BLA BLA......... Yes we should respect others ways of thinking whether you like it or not.
