What do you think is the future of Google+. It hasn't worked out except for digital marketers for organic rank? Do you see Google dumping it for good?

This question was inspired by a post from Mr. Lee Mancini on another social space. I wanted to know what other experts think about it.

the question is interesting

Since professionals can't neglect organic canals and since Googleplus is quite essential to build author rank, which is very important for media and blog's visibility and trust, i definitely think that Google Plus IS the future.

I personally noticed that with equal efforts fan pages in GooglePlus receive way more trafic than FB fan pages
