If you notice, during negotiation with non-exclusive dealer that he promotes the product of your competitor more than yours, what would you do?

Non-exclusive dealers usually sell same products from different suppliers. They tend to promote some products more than others because of some special interests.

Hi Ibrahim,

Good evening. In my opinion, any businessman wants profit from the business. If the profit is less then exclusive dealership also churn to other brand.

1.I would first analysis the product of competitor, where it has superior characteristic then mine one if yes, then I will focus to improve my product. If no, then I will see how much profit earn by dealer by selling competitor product.

2.If profit margin is more than mine one then I can think whether I can offer same or higher profit margin.

3.Last but not least, I will focus to brand awareness because it has more weight age than other things. For e.g. Vicco products has well brand awareness. If brand awareness is establish then you can control customer churn even thought dealer will offer other product.
