Slight problem of stammering, how does it affect my professional career?

I am an enthusiastic professional, good learner and etc. But I feel in spite of my capability I may suffer at some point of time just because of this weakness. One more thing, I am good at written communication. Also I manage to convey (effectively and properly) my message in oral communication but with unusual pauses and little stuttering..!! Will recruiter hire me by knowing this weakness of mine? Just wanted to know your opinion.

Of course you will be able to get your job of choice, if you have the right qualifications. You need to build up self confidence. Learn how to speak slowly and confidently, look for the words or areas that trip you up and practise, especially on friends. You can also see a speech therapist, who will be able to give you better advice

1, Stop seeing this as a weakness.

2, Never apologise for this during an interview, the interviewer should treat you as they would any other candidate.

3, Concentrate on your strengths not possible weaknesses.

4, If you feel you missed out on the position because of your stammer, you will fail to look for the true reason you were not selected.

There is no reason why stammering should affect your career badly, especially in your field of employment which doesn't involve interaction with customers.
Also, stammering isn't a permanent problem and many people have overcome it with speech therapy (one example is Dr.
Zakir Naik, a public speaker)! See your doctor about this.
