Balance sheet measures the worth (wealth) of the company. However, a balance sheet is incomplete without income statement. Also, a balance sheet does not provide details of cash spending and further explanations. So from the strict point of view of looking at wealth of a company at a glance, a balance sheet is sufficient, however, other financial statements are equally important too.
