What is the Difference Between Auditors and Accountants?

Accountant is basically a perform a routine work of the company on daily basis. But Auditors perform work only on quarterly or yearly basis. And Auditor just review the work done by accountants.

Accountant is an employee of the company, but auditor is entirely a different part having no interest in the company.

 

The main difference between these is that Auditors review the work done by Accountants.

Auditing is a field on accounting . Accounting includes financial accounting, management accounting, and auditing. Accounting provide the information and auditing insure its quality. - Accounting is the information system that identify (what event must be reported) , recording (in a chronological diary), and communicating the financial information ( though financial reports ) to the interested users. - Audit is a group of activities which used to provide reasonable assurance that the information provided is compatible with a predetermined criteria (for example : IFRS ) , auditing includes3 main fields : financial statements audit , compliance audit, and operational .
