Business ethics are the ways you conduct and carry out business... A method and style of carrying out each transaction / task which benefits customer/client and also empowers colleagues to work with a motivation. These days its important to have business ethics set as job objective to have a quality oriented and smooth running operational business. Kindly write back if there is difference in opinion.

Business Ethics is about ethical behaviour in the world of business.  It is concerned with morals - and questions of right and wrong.  It is not directly concerned with the law.

Some actions are legal, but may be considered unethical by some people (or almost everybody).  One example which can occur in the sphere of recruitment is when a company posts an advert for a job when they have no real intention of hiring anybody.  This may be done for a number of reasons, for instance in order to learn about competitors by interviewing their staff.  It's not an illegal practice, and the company can claim they would hire the "perfect" candidate, but it is unethical.

In my first ever job, an ethical question came up.  A wise person said to me, "It's very simple.  Never do anything you don't want to see on the front page of the news."
