It depends from which perspective immediate action is viewed from, as it is not only a professional's trait but also a character's, which means it can be applied in all spheres of life.

 

Immediate action is the opposite of procrastination.

 

If you allow tasks to build up, you will eventually find it more difficult to put things in their proper time and place.

 

Through immediate action, not only do you keep both management and customers happy, but it prevents oneself from becoming exhausted in the future as it is only a matter of time until you become overwhelmed with the tasks delayed and you will find your self juggling more than you can handle which will inevitably lead to mistakes, including forgetting, miss-management and lack of punctuality.
