What are adverbs and how to teach students in simple form?

Adverbs are the words which modify verbs, adjectives and other adverbs. I ask my students to enact various actions and then teach adverbs by describing the actions in different context. Eg The boy ran (how) fast. The bird flew (how) high My grandmother walks (how) slowly.

I will do revision about VERBS..and ask learners:  To name a few verbs like  WALK, RUN , DRINK, WASH, WRITE , KICK AND JUMP.

THAN  I will explain to them that an ADVERB ESCRIBE A VERB, and give them a few examples like:

RUN FAST,  WRITE UGLY,  JUMP HIGH

The words Fast, Ugly an High are adverbs that describes the Verbs Run, Write an Jump.

They are words that describe the verbs ,an adjective or even a whole sentence I teach my kids these words by using many skills and by putting them in different positions to need to use them

Adverbs are words to describe the WAY or HOW you did something (eg.'The student strongly disagreed').Think of it as the adjective of a verb

A way to remember is 'ad' from 'adjective' and 'verb' from 'verb'.

There are alot of adverbs for example adverbs of frequency (sometimes , usually...) adjective ending in ( ly or y ) I often use different examples showi g students how adverbs vary from other . .I use communicative approach . Languages in context I can use (T PP or TTP teachnique. )

Verbs are action  just explain the quantity and quaility that is the type of action

Adverbs are words that add more meaning to the meaning of verbs, adjectives and other advebs in sentences. The best way to teach adverbs is to let them know how adverbs functions through some practices.

It is and invariable word that provide information to the verb. They can't answer when, how, where, etc. So i will reader than ask to tell me examples, us a phisical theatre performer and teacher of dance  i will ask them to represent the adverbio.
