Employers give special considerations to those with years of experience in their relevant field when recruiting, how will young grads gain the experience?

what can be done to curtail this trend of not giving younger ones with little or no work experience a fair amount of opportunity to develop in a chosen career ?

Young graduate should search for volunteers jobs and take it up to gain experience, or get involved in casual jobs that pay less than their expectations to gain experience and later get absorbed by the company or get job in another company through that experience or involve in apprenticeship programs related to their field to gain practical experience which will help them to land good jobs or stand on their own as entrepreneurs.

My dear friend you don't have to worry so much about starting professional career. Every company offers Graduate program for fresh graduates. All you have to do is look for the opportunities and go through rigorous selection procedure depending upon company & current economy.

You can also contact small consultancy offices by visiting them personally and introduce yourself to get an opportunity.

Your problem is nothing new as we all have passed through this stage.

Good Luck!
