For PE Piping, what is the difference between using EF or BW Fitting?

PE : Polyethelyne

EF : Electric Fusion 

BW : Butt Welding

For PE Piping systems On EF (Electrofusion) you will use an electro-wired fittings and electrofusion machine while in BW - Butt weld, you will use a non-wired fittings where the faces are shaved, a heated plate is on and pull together to form weld jointing.

I think there is another different, for EF fitting the pipe is inserted into the fitting and the welding done by electrical fusion machine but for the BW connections (we do so as Mr. Marko Ristic Said) we clean both ends to be welded and then create the Butt shape and put them head to head an then comes the welding machine by heating a welding rod (direct melting). this what I know

what ever you do.... (Elecric or Butt welding), you need to re-blast it and coat it again....5- cm left and right from the weld.
