Operations is basically defined as back office activities involving in the large organisation, where the second line of defence operates, checking and update of documents, contracts and irecording of all informations into the systems / database.

 

While administration involves into the small/odd jobs like typing, translations, immigration process, safety and security of premises, rent,, utilities.

 

In many place Administration combines with Finance or HR for supervision purposes. In small organisations, many small functions worked togather as Finance / Admin Operations.
