1- Global benchmark with HR expertise - Free online update.

2- Local benchmark with local companies - free of cost.

3- Several online free HR Groups on Facebook and LinkedIn are providing free downloads of various human development techniques magazines.

4- Try to join and expand your network with HR expertise with various JOB PORTALS, they are also providing free online human development programs.

it is by giving your employees training courses, sharing company target, giving them chance to share their idea with company. if the employees feel that they are a big part of this company, they could struggled to reach company's target!

Nowadays there are so many low-cost opportunities available in the field of personal development. E.g. platforms as Coursera offer interesting courses and certifications for free (or a low cost). Furthermore you could always think out of the box, how can you add value to your team? In general people love to get personal attention and want to feel appreciated. Would it be an option for your organization to arrange low-cost training programs in house? In the UAE many specialized trainers are looking for projects for example, to expand their experience. And I know for sure that you can create an interesting program yourself as well. Use books and interesting TED talks for example to be inspired yourself (Business Model Generation, Simon Sinek, Malcolm Gladwell, etc.) Don't forget, many businesses started once with low budgets. It takes time to grow! The most important thing: enjoy!

There are many tools can be used such as in house training and online training.... also the experience exchange between the senior & juniors staff  is very effective in improving the employee performance.

In house training is very important, we have so many skills to share. Cross training is good also for the business annld having cover at all times. Again this brings the teams much closer together, don't forget the amount of online courses that are free. Time can be given incuding access to these either during work hours or lunch breaks.

There are a gamut of opportunities for employers on a tight budget but with a sincere aim to still provide for their employees' human development by making use of what you already have in your disposal, maybe your department heads and maybe a not very well used meeting room. A kpi for every department to hold training sessions atleast twice a year, as an example, anyone in finance can be nominated to teach how to manage budgets, money and investments, or similar topics that is not entirely business related while the employees will be asked to accumulate minimum training participation hours as part of their own kpi. Another is finding universities that provide free learning as they need their would-be english teaching graduates to practice on. Investment here is probably transportation and the reduction of overtime workers. Participating as a group in charity events is a good way to encourage camaraderie and develop a sense of awareness for causes outside of the business, example EWS-WWF holds an annual recycled material boat race where corporations participate by making their boats from scraps and racing it. Be specific on what you want your employees to develop and know that human development needs doesn't always involve cash and compensations, it needs a lot of well-thought of actions.
