Is it smart to make a real estate investment in the near future any where in the Middle East, despite the oil crisis and currency fluctuations the region is going through?

For any investment decisions anywhere, we need to consider the external environment (social, political, economic), rate of return and risk factor. So, based on these criteria, you may consider several destinations in the middle-east and then choose the best one with risk and high return.

you have to look on Phillip's curve, which suggest that you should not invest during these crisis, you see, the real estate is affected by oil prices, maybe u should wait till it reach lowest point before you purchase, however you can't really say that this is temporary, what if it lasts for 5 years or 10 years, then ur real estate might lose it's value.  

Real estate investment is linked to too many sectors, including the oil sector, and fortunately that most of the materials used in the construction are not imported and therefore would not be greatly affected by fluctuations in the dollar prices, which in my perspective is a good investment to increase the gross domestic product and contributes significantly to reducing unemployment.

The most important is the security 

areas that are currently experiencing unrest can not anticipate having the opportunity to invest in a real estate
