Is it compulsory to answer every question asked?

There is nothing compulsory at all about Bayt's Questions and answers ,, but i think it's a brilliant system from Bayt to exchange experience between users and also to gain Credits and higher ranks in different specialties and to help users gain more experience by just Asking and reading other's answers .

Definitely, it's not.
You can answer whatever you want, as long as you know the answer, and it's preferable to answer within your expertise.
Sometimes your answers may help your colleagues, or you can simply present your point of view.
Through good answers you gain points to your specialties...
