I would advise a lot of soul searching before change of domain. One shall discuss in detail the reasons behind this wish. Would these reasons not be applicable in the targetted domain. Is one completely aware of the pros and cons of the targetted domain? Is one ready for the unseen results of his action which he might have to face even when he thinks he's fully prepared?

I don't think it is a good Idea if you are in the field of procurement & Supply Chain since long (specially in Gulf)
