What is better, fresh fruit juice or fresh fruit salad? And why ?

salad ,why because Blending and juicing both disrupt the mechanical structure of plant cells, which increases the accessibility of many micronutrients. Many beneficial micronutrients – carotenoids, polyphenols, and folate for example — are often bound to structural components or large molecules within the plant cell like fiber, proteins, and starches. The reason fruit juices are such culprits is because they contain very less fibre and more sugar which do more harm than good. Susan Jebb, head of diet and obesity research at the Medical Research Council’s Human Nutrition Research unit in Cambridge, says she did not see juice as a healthy option. 

 

‘Fruit juice isn’t the same as intact fruit and it has got as much sugar as many classical sugar drinks. It is also absorbed very fast

Fresh Fruit juice and Fresh fruit salad both are having importance when considered to health.

 

We can replace the fruit salad by fresh fruit juice in some cases such as easy digestion and GI tract health (surgery cases). 

Then in another point of view, fruit salad will always considered to be best as because its contain skin, seeds, pulp etc.,as all of these rich of vitamins and minerals.

Have you noticed that in most of the websites are healthy fruit mentioned in the world, but does not specifically mention fruit juices as the preferred form of healthy eating. The reason for this is simple: regardless of the fruit and the method used to perform the juice, most of the diversity and usefulness of food comes through the fruit whole.

 

Fruit is not only delicious and refreshing, but most brands are also excellent sources of certain vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and dietary fiber. Diets rich in fruits is a healthy heart and can reduce the risk of many degenerative diseases. But eating a whole fruit provides more dietary fiber and thus health benefits.
